Cordless Trimmer XGT® 40V Max

Makita´s new variable speed trimmer RT001G has a re-designed BL motor that delivers high power for working. Besides variety of features RT001G offers, the machine has a slim and ergonomically designed body for increased comfort and better grip. It is equipped with aluminum base for higher durability and accuracy. RT001G is also compatible with the bases used for DRT50.

Multiple Functions

RT001G has a soft start function to minimize start-up shock and make the tool start smoothly. Accidental start ups are minimized by push button switch that includes lock-off button. It also offers lock-on function that reduces hand fatigue in long continuous operation.

The machine has conveniently located variable speed control dial enables user to match the speed to the application while holding the body. Constant speed control maintains constant speed under load.

Aluminum base

For higher durability and accuracy.

Base can be removed quickly to install other bases (plunge, tilt and offset).

Cordless Trimmer XGT® 40V Max

RT001G is connectable to Makita vacuum cleaner with optional dust nozzle for a cleaner work environment. Its Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) also enables to connect to compatible vacuum cleaner with Bluetooth.

Thanks to Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), RT001G has improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions. To increase visibility RT001G offers twin LED lights that illuminates cutting edges when operating.
